Pet feeding trends.
It is possible to transfer healthy eating habits from humans to our pets, if this generates security when feeding them. However, it is important to seek the opinion of our Veterinarian and understand that dogs and cats function differently than humans.

People seek to modify eating habits for healthier ones. It is increasingly common to hear terms such as "superfoods," functional and/or holistic foods, or natural nutrition. The new trends in food propose a nutrition based on differentiating foods of the highest quality, totally healthy and natural. This is because these concepts offer multiple benefits, favoring and seeking to improve health. Food changes according to age, lifestyle and nutritional needs, as well as food preferences. It is normal for humans to want to apply similar concepts to our pets. For example, some owners do not eat grains and/or gluten to avoid the risk of allergic reactions or feelings of poor digestion, and they prefer that their pets' food doesn't contain these ingredients either. Looking for a healthier diet, less processed and with more natural ingredients is a positive trend. Similarly, we are looking for healthier and less traditional options for our pets' diets.
The term "holistic" or "natural" is relatively recent and more commonly used in human nutrition. In pets, we can refer to the way of life of the dog or cat, based on their metabolic needs, their lifestyle and their relationship with their species, understood as a whole.
The ingredients used provide great well-being to our dogs and cats, because the basis of this type of food is protein of animal origin, such as chicken, turkey and salmon, among others. They also contain vegetables and fruits that provide minerals, vitamins and natural fats. They are free of artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. In addition, they contain “Super food”: superfoods with high amounts of antioxidants, probiotics and protein of the highest quality of animal origin.
